well in a mad dash i've decide to join the haunt this year. after last year i thgouth abot not doing anything this year, but with a review of the fun and screams from adults and kids alike i've decided to go again.

my thought is first my costume, I have a paire of dark blue coveralls that look almost black at night, with my army gass mask and a hard hat with a light i think i should be good for the charachter from bloody valentine this past spring.

My next thought is to make a "tunnel" with 3mil black plastic and some 2x4's and a flashing light effect with a flourscent starter in a cable. and if i have enough time and money to create the neverending hole.

if anyone has any ideas to add or make this better please let me know.

I found that Black gardening fabric works well and can be used every year. I comes in very large rolls.
Sounds like your ready to spook the neighborhood.

Those bloody worms that you can get anywhere, like walmart, I placed coming out of the top of a ceramic skull and then one or two crawling through the holes in the eyes and out the mouth.
We bought the cheaper small battery operated strobes, so that no one would trip over anything. They give off enough light to see where you are going but not enough to see what's up ahead.

I know for the Neighborhood haunt I'm going to get a tunnel and put one lantern at one end and then put some and the end they will enter, I'm going to put one of those foot lamp switches nere the opening that i'm going to come through so i can turn off the lights at one end.
so far i have the costume, i need an Ax and the parts for the flicker lamp.
