Hey all! Looks like we have a new alternative to the "Blucky" and the higher end "Bucky" skeletons... My wife and I were out at Garden Ridge, a local home decor warehouse type store, and found that they had already started to put out their Halloween materials! (Yay!) But the big find were these rather realistic plasitc skeletons... about 5 feet tall, with very realistic looking rib work, for about $50.00 each. The come in both a natural bone color, and in plack with bronze-ish highlights. Although certainly NOT a medical grade skeleton, these things looked quite realistic when viewed within a few feet. Only when you actually start to handle them do you realize the rib cage is a blow molded, die-cut peice of plastic.
I'm planning on picking up at least a couple of them for this year's yard haunt, and maybe a few more if I can find them on sale after Halloween. But, as good a prop as they are, I'm sure they'll be selling fast!
