Here's the first set of pics. Today was the big put-up-all-the-plastic day as the SOCAL winds kicked up and made me scramble for more clamps (pictures of that tomorrow).

I think I sprayed too much neon paint in my enclosed spider chamber...cough...cough...

I conducted interviews with 4 teens that will be actors inside my haunt. The Autopsy Room will be especially fun. Wifeypoo made a big mistake saying, "Lets go to Party City to look around." ...$100 later...

We got hit with some wind gusts last night, up here in Nor-Cal too!

I really like the vulture! And the branches on your fence look good.
Does she know you call her Wifeypoo?? LOL.

Great job! I wish I had that many actors all ready to scare LOL... Finally got some one in the coffin after about an hr late and the mask room a little later than that
Thanks all, it was a great success! Even though I was scrambling around with a can of spray paint in one hand, neon string in another hand, and a cordless drill in another hand...wait...how many hands is that?

I had enough time to clean up and chill in the backyard for about 30 minutes for our childrens party, complete with huge inflatable castle-slide thing. But then there was a ring at the door...what the...!? "Stations everybody! Go! Go! Go! I need some blood splatters, STAT!"

My son dressed as Indiana Jones, complete with whip and fudora, and worked the entrance, making sure only 3 at a time came through. At times there was a line outside of people waiting to come through.

My actors did a great job and really laid out the screams.

Our "safe word" was "peanut butter". That way if there were little kids they could say this and not get jumped. So groups of kids would walk cautiously chanting, "Peanut butter, peanut butter, peanut butter!"

But NEXT year...
