Horror movie theme, feedback appreciated.

This year my maze will enter through my side yard like always, you'll be greeted by Jigsaw (from Saw) who will explain the safety rules and whatnot. Now from there I don't know what order the rooms come in but I do know what the rooms are:

Freddy Krueger Boiler Room:

Nothing special, just an actor.

The Mummy:

Guests enter, the door closes behind them and there is apparently no way out. But suddenly, a spotlight shines onto a nearby animatronic mummy who shouts at patrons, "He killed everyone! Mummified us all alive! He'll kill us all! He's going to- AAHHH!!!!" fog bursts from behind and the mummy is pulled away from view screaming. This animation plays on a screen.

Once that mummy roars, 2 prop mummies drop from the ceiling, the exit door at the other end of the room slides open, and an actor enters as well chasing guests into the next room.
(I take no credit for the animation, it's from a Chinese haunted house I just added new audio and put music in)

Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
Takes place in a forest, I'm leaving a large portion of the backyard open with no walls (but still walls keeping them inside of it) Leatherface is then free to emerge from any bushes he choses.

The Grudge:
Before guests enter into the garage, the following is written on the wall and lit up with a blue light, "When someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage, a curse is born..." Fans of Ju-On or The Grudge will immediately recognize this message. Guests will enter the garage which is absolutely pitch black. That horrifying, disgusting sound Kayako makes in "The Grudge" and "Ju-On" can be heard, but you can't see your hand in front of your face. A motion sensor activates a blue light to shine onto a prop of Kayako's face, lit up just inches away from your face and a deathly shriek is emitted. Turn the corner and there is a long hallway, a strobe goes off only once every couple of seconds. My girlfriend is portraying Kayako, every flash of the strobe she will be in a new location closer and closer to the guests.

Child's Play:
Just one scare. A light shines over Chucky as you hear him groan, at the sound of a knife being unsheathed the light goes off and you hear his famous laugh.

Friday the 13th:
Just one scare also, an animatronic pop-up prop with a Jason mask. I've never found him that scary so I'm not giving him a big elaborate room but people would be disappointed not to see him in a horror movie themed maze.

IT:
The only room besides Saw that I know the for sure placement of, let me tell you folks... Stephen King's IT is this maze's finale. For those of you who have seen my haunt video or pictures from 2006's "Blood Fair" the IT room will contain every single prop from that maze in one room. In other words, there are a LOT of clowns in here. Oh, and this will strike a cord on anyone who has seen or read IT...There'll be a lot of balloons in here too, and they float down here...

Yeah so that's all. If anyone can let me know of some movies I forgot I'm sure I have room to squeeze them in, I probably have a few empty rooms and can use the advice. Thanks a lot!
One of the coolest scenes I have ever seen at a haunted house was done at the Science Center in Des Moines, IA. At the end of their haunt they had a prison cell that said 'Haddonfield Penitentiary.' Inside was Michael Myers in shackles. As you walked by he broke the shackels and chains off and started rattling the bars of the cell. Then a strobe light kicked on and fog came pouring out - he actually bent the bars of the cell (not sure how they did that!) and came chasing after you as the 'Hallowee theme' began to play. It was an amazing effect!

P.S. Also, I have done a 'Psycho' bathroom in the past that has 'Mother' coming out of the shower with a butcher knife.
All the bars were iron except the ones he bent which were PVC. I've seen a how-to on that effect before. Yeah psycho would work well, thanks. Halloween too maybe.
What great ideas you have!! I'm sure its all going to be a hit!!
I don't think you've left out anything. I especially like the Mummy
room.

Jessica
you could do poltergeist with a face pushing TV...
I like the concept! Found a site awhile ago that did the same thing...except there's was a kae "movie theatre". I'll try and find it again!

They all float down here Georgie
I left out a room that was actually one of my original ideas. I'm also doing "The Exorcist" and hanging a dummy of Regan over a bed having a fan blowing her hair with the priest next to the bed and I've rigged up a prop demon to come out from the bed. Can't believe I left that out.
JR - wow this is sounding like a really elaborate haunt! And big too - do you know your square footage? You must have quite a bit of space to play with (wish I had that much space!) Some of your scares sound pretty complex. I know you said your girlfriend is helping out - do you have any other helpers that are going to be there to give you a helping hand?
I actually don't have much space at all, just lots of twists and turns (not to mention it's going through the back yard AND garage this year which is new)

But yeah I'm getting as many of my friends together as I possibly can. A lot of people I know have already picked certain horror movies they would like to be. I've casted Leatherface, Pennywise (which is me), Freddy, Kayako, and a few victims already. I still need a few more people but for the most part we're looking good as far as actors go. I need a lot of help with assembly though, as well as someone who is willing to work the mummy room. I might end up having to give up my role as Pennywise to do that.
JR sounds like great fun....I want to come...lol You have some amzing ideas... be sure and take lots of pics. I can't wait to see them...
I'm getting a LOT. Video too.
