THis one is coming out on December 7 this year. This is about a remake of the 1980 cult film about a maker of smoked meats who uses kidnapped humans as part of his recipe.

Hey, have you seen the classic film "Motel Hell" before, or what? I've never got a chance to see it because I was little kid in 1980. Hee hee... Well, I will try to rent it some of the days.
BTW, have you seen the movie called "The Mad Butcher?" I believe it was made in either 1979 or 1980. It was about a guy who owns his own meat store that he kills several women, then produce their bodies into meats!

I saw Motel Hell Tivo off IFC a while back, very cheesy but funny, A remake would not make me mad, now the "Halloween" remake don't get me started?@!
The other "Bad Butcher" nevr heard of it, sounds cool though!

I just saw hotel hell for the first time, I think, on IFC as well. I agree that the campy-ness of the first one could not be redone. I assume the remake has a bigger budget, but the best thing about the original was that it was low budget. The original has a perfect mix of gore and stupidity; a remake would ruin it.
