I thought it went well for a last-minute job. (Started in late August.) I'm thinking I'll be venturing back to the horror side of Halloween next year....

Looks pretty good! I need to do something with my windows next year. Like the effect. Guess I've got a year to get ideas. Gonna count on all of you to give me ideas and suggestions as usual. LOL.
Love the red light on the pirate ghost. And that bay window is perfect for that prop! Looks like a mighty battle was waged there...ha ha. Nice job!
GREAT PICS!!! Awesome job....

Outstanding! Y'know it's one of the reasons I love coming here is not only to admire the work of others but also to get different ideas as well. Great job!
great creativity! Awesome!
Great work! Love that cannon... nice usage of the creepy cloth on the windows!
Not bad for a 'last minute job!' Great work on the canon - and the Pirate Ghost turned out fantasti c. I see a lot of possibilities for 2007 - in fact, your pirate ghost would make a superb candidate for a 'Pepper's Ghost' illusion. Have you ever considererd doing one of those? Your placement of the ghost in the window lends itself to this trick quite nicely. Just something to think about in the nine months leading up to Halloween!

Hope you're able to keep us posted on your progress for this year's haunt. Great job!
I usually plant my FCG in that bay window. Didn't break it out for 2006 but if my cemetary plans (borrowed heavily from Hallowed Haunting Grounds and Ghostie) become reality it will be back. Alas, the pirate ghost will have to take a break this year. (Unless my kids talk me into the pirate theme again.)

Right now I'm trying to figure out where to plant my hovering reaper prop. (Beginning construction soon.) I'd love to place it on the peak of the roof and let the "blood" fall from there but winds could become an issue.

Thanks for the comments!

Wow, I'm really excited to see what you've got planned. I've been striving for a HHG caliber cemetery, but when you consider they took thirty years to do theirs...I won't expect too much from myself after only two! I bought a "Haunted Media DVD" with an interview with Gary Corb and the HHG on it. It was really helpful because you can pause it and really get a good look at some of their props...It's issue one with the Queen Mary on the cover...

Anyhoo. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
